Learn Music with Chris

Chris Whipple was born on October 12, 1986. Chris graduated from Lapeer East High School in 2004. While attending school he played in symphonic band, jazz band, and marching band as a percussionist. While in school Whipple studied under the guidance of Dan Goss. Dan Goss played for Michigan state as a center snare. In marching band, Chris was honored to hold the position of the center snare. Chris has played in solo and ensemble and state band festivals all throughout school. Whipple has also performed in many bands throughout his career as a musician and is still currently active. He has experience in the recording studio as well. Whipple enjoys passing on what he has learned to others. Chris has currently taught percussion for 3 years at the school of Bach. He looks forward to growing as a teacher and making instructional and drum cover videos in the future.
